Wire-Cut Machine

Victor Engineering Company is a small Toolmaking firm, formed in 1953, although it has only been under my control since 1970. The company was originally based in Teddington, Middlesex and moved to Littlehampton in 1971. We only have five or six employees.

We generally design and manufacture small Pierce & Blank Tools and Form Tools for our customers. We also have the facility to produce the components for them, using a variety of materials. The majority of our customers are in the Electronics business so mostly the materials used are Copper and Brass. We also are involved in small batch machining and Silver Soldering.

We have, over the years, produced a number of special purpose machines for a variety of applications. We therefore have at our disposal a variety of machinery. Our principal machine is the Wire-cut Electric Discharge Machine pictured above. This has a capacity to machine our punches and dies to high accuracy. It has a capacity of 10" (250mm) X 14" (350mm) X 10" (250mm) high.

Our Power Press Capacity (4 machines) is up to 60 tons. We also have two vertical Milling Machines, Three Centre Lathes, two surface grinders (one a plough grinder), a number of Drilling Machines, a Shaper, Bandsaw, Circular Saw and 8 Flypresses.

Pictured are samples of the sort of work we can produce.
